A Union of Needletrades, Industrial, & Textile Employees (UNITE) was the labor union in the United States, formed in 1995 as a merger between the International Ladies' Garment Workers' Union (ILGWU) and a Amalgamated Clothing and Textile Workers Union (ACTWU).
